Structured Video Wall-plates:
The Wall-plates allow for the connection of any Telephone, Computer and Television device at the same time. The Structured Video (SV) Plates not only ensure that the wall-plate location is covered for technologies of today—but for the emerging technologies of tomorrow. In the near future, the computer network will expand in the house to interact with scores of devices—phones, alarm clocks, Televisions and more. These networks most likely will be Ethernet based, which require a dedicated Category 5e connection. The SV Plates have a connection to (2) Category 5e and (2) RG-6 Quad Video wires.
Structured Video Cable:
It is critical for any computer network wiring in the house to be run by a professional. The Category 5e wire is delicate, and can be easily damaged during installation. MMT is certified by the Wiring Manufacturer to run Category 5e cabling. MMT follows the EIA/TIA industry guidelines to ensure against wire damage and interference from high-voltage electrical lines in the house. The RG-6 Cable MMT runs is a specialty cable that allows for centralized video distribution in the house.
Computer Network Panel:
All of the Structured Wiring is home-run in the basement. At the basement panel, MMT installs a Computer Network Panel, that takes the Cable Modem signal and sends it throughout the house.
Telephone Connections
All of the Telephone wiring that is in the Structured Video Cables are connected in the basement. The cabling allows for multiple phone lines in the house to be sent to any room with a wall-plate.
Video Connections
The RG-6 Serial Digital Video Cable that is included in the SV wiring is organized and labeled, so that MMT or the cable company can hook up either Cable TV or Satellite TV in the future. |
